The lawn and beach are located directly at the Alpen Caravan Park Achensee, which boasts a children’s adventure playground, adventure water park, indoor children’s club and beach volleyball court. The service facilities in the central building and sanitary blocks at the Alpen Caravan Park Achensee are freely accessible.
The freely accessible lake is fed by crystal clear mountain streams, so can be a little fresh. So there is a manmade headland to allow pleasant temperatures in the protected bathing area so there’s nothing to stop you enjoying a lovely dip.

From the Rofan Seilbahn cable car valley station in Maurach, it’s just a 5-minute ride to the mountain station at 1,840m above sea level. This is the starting point for breathtaking mountain hikes in one of the most beautiful hiking regions in the Tyrolean Alps. From a 360° viewing platform, the Adlerhorst, you can drink in the imposing mountain backdrop of Rofan and Karwendel.

More challenging and action-packed routes for mountain bikers spanning all difficulty levels are offered at the Tirols Sport & Vital Park Achensee. The region boasts 250km of officially approved cycling and mountain biking routes, and is a member of the Tiroler Mountainbike Spezialisten. It’s among the top regions for bikers.
